#22: Go To a Concert

Completed
May 26th, 2012

David Foster's 25th Anniversary Miracle Concert
This was the second best concert I have ever been to! (Sorry...BSB was a dream come true for me). Many  D-list celebs were in attendance - Pamela Anderson, Wayne Gretzky, Sinbad, Alan Thicke, Muhammed Ali, Ben Mulroney, and Rick Hansen. Ruban Studdard, The Canadian Tenors, Kenny G, Sarah McLachlan, and J-Gro preformed. LOVED IT! Would definitely attend this concert again.

#18: Go Camping

Completed
May 18-20, 2012

This May-Long adventure was not just camping. This adventure included taking a very slow moving ferry to Port Angeles, visiting Twilight Central, hiking up and down cliffs for 5 km, and sleeping on a very thin and uncomfortable "mattress" right next to the Pacific Ocean.
Think Amazing Race and Survivor combined together.

We stopped in at Twilight Central - Forks.

This was my "if I ever get lost, use this picture" Picture

The plan was to hike down to Scott Creek. We made it!!!

Climbing pretty steep hills/cliffs was not my specialty.
The top of one of the big hills. This one was my Everest.
The view from our tent.
Me playing Tom Hanks in "Castaway"
STARFISH!!!

#16: Graduate from Law School

Completed
May 14th, 2012

3 years of reading dry material, forcing myself to attend classes, and failing to attend most of my classes and I am finally done my law degree! Not going to lie - it was such a relief to see that I passed my classes in my last year - thought for sure that I failed some classes!

I don't plan on attending the graduation ceremony so this is the only picture you'll get!

#74: Get Mom a Gift for Mother's Day

Completed
May 13th, 2012

I saw this pitcher at the Butchard Gardens and knew that it would make a perfect gift!
I wish I could have been there to give it to her though...next year for sure!

#10: Run a Marathon

Completed
May 6th, 2012

How sad is it that I completed a marathon before dating a heterosexual male for at least a week?

Notice how happy I was?
I had no idea what I was getting myself into....
Around the 22 km mark. Still feeling good.
It was around 32 km where I was praying to Jesus.

About to cross the finish line!
My Reward!

The results!!! I BEAT OPRAH!

#83: Go to the Zoo

Completed
May 5th, 2012

The Edmonton Zoo was better than I expected! AND it was dead quiet the day we went = awesome! The only disappointing part was that we did not get to see Lucy the Elephant - how they were able to hide an elephant amazed me.

I made him look!
Never even knew there was such a thing as a Red Panda!

Getting' Jiggy Wit' It!

My FAVORITE animal!
If they weren't known for biting heads off, I might get one!

#40: Ask JP Arencibia Out on a Date

Completed
May 5th, 2012

Instead of embarrassing my brother at the upcoming Blue Jays game in Seattle, I decided to ask him privately - well, kind of. Twitter has finally been put to good use.

#62: Go on a Roller Coaster

Completed
May 3rd, 2012

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! I have never screamed so much in my life! I just kept saying "Holy Shit!" over and over again. Kenna played the Mr. Bean card (see pic below!)

#5: Visit Kenna in Edmonton

Completed
May 2nd - May 15th

I arrived to a sunny Edmonton on a Wednesday evening and the sun has not stopped shining! I actually LIKE it here - who knew! The trip is not yet over at the time of posting this blog, but I already know that this has been one of my best vacations :). Pictures to come!!!

#63: Wear a Hat Backwards for a Whole Day

Completed
May 2nd, 2012

I bought a brand new BJays hat just for this event. I started the morning off by doing puzzles with my nephew. It was a great break from doing the alphabet.

Pa and I then set out for Edmonton.
Hat is still backwards.

Pa and I then posed in front of the Legislature in Edmonton. I convinced him to wear his hat backwards. He was a good sport.
